Free software projects I am or was involved in:
OmegaT+
OmegaT+ is a machine aided human translation tool programmed in Java.
I translated OmegaT+ to Spanish.
Go Ollie!
Go Ollie! is a mouse controlled platform game programmed in Python.
I translated Go Ollie! to Spanish.
DelphOS
DelphOS was a 100% free GNU/Linux distribution that planed to introduce a novel approach for users to interact with their systems.
I had translated the wiki to English. I also took care of the installation of Redmine in its servers. DelphOS is currently dead.
gNewSense
gNewSense is a 100% free GNU/Linux distribution supported by the Free Software Foundation.
I used to help with the documentation and wiki translation.
KDE-AR
I am founding member of KDE-AR, the Argentine users and developers group of KDE. We have done translation sprints, we have sponsored and organized conferences and we celebrate at release parties!
GNU IceCat
GNU IceCat is a rebranded version of Firefox that doesn't recommend nonfree addons. As a hacking excercise I decided to write a Python script to rebrand the Firefox localization files for GNU IceCat. The script was part of GNU IceCat until v3.6.
FLOSSK
I was invited as a speaker to the first Software Freedom Kosova conference, where I talked about translation with free software and I gave a presentation on Python for beginners called "Being a n00b yet hacking in Python".
PyCon Argentina 2009
I was part of the organization team of PyCon Argentina 2009. I was also part of the panel "Translating Applications, Libraries and Documentation".
RMS GNU/Linux-libre
RMS GNU/Linux-libre was a 100% free version of Slax. RMS stands for RMS's Mostly Slax. I was the main maintainer of RMS. I was in charge of patching and compiling Linux-libre, rebranding Slax and KDE, checking the licenses of modules and getting rid of all nonfree software and firmware. The logo, although not my idea, was also my doing. Lack of time forced me to abandon RMS GNU/Linux-libre.
Parabola GNU/Linux
A project I initially tried to start under the codename gArch, Parabola GNU/Linux is a 100% free version of Arch Linux. My work in Parabola was limited to license checking and nonfree packages filtering. I also built x86_64 packages every once in a while. I no longer participate in Parabola GNU/Linux due to lack of free time.
Beem
Beem is an XMPP client for the Android platform. I helped with the Spanish translation.
yaxim
yaxim (yet another XMPP instant messenger) is an XMPP client for the Android platform. I translated it to Spanish and I also helped with bug reports and testing.
